Most professionals would probably avoid sharing some of their earliest work for concern of embarrassment or some other reason, but I’m proud to show the roots of my professional development – particularly my studies, and work at the school papers The UWM Post and The Leader while I was there.
I began my studies focusing on filmmaking before changing majors midway through my sophomore year to print journalism. Prior to that, via prompting from a good friend, I began writing music reviews for The Leader as a freshman – quickly discovering my love of writing. It took me another 3 semesters before I realized that I loved writing and wanted to pursue it professionally.
Below, in a most inglorious scanned slideshow is a large selection of written and photographic work during my college years. Yay!
